COMM 599: Leadership and the Future of Reporting in the Digital Age
Leadership and the Future of Reporting in the Digital Age examines current changes in the news business, with students exploring the rapid changes that have shrunk newspapers and other mainstream publications while simultaneously producing new digital outlets for news. The class features visits by distinguished guests, such as Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter Seymour Hersh.
COMM 579: Entrepreneurship in the New Media
Entrepreneurship in the New Media explores the fast-changing business models in the news business and the rise of entrepreneurship in developing new-media enterprises, which is changing the way news is disseminated by journalists and heard by consumers.
