Isaac Rottman

Junior Fellow

Isaac Rottman joined CCLP as a Junior Fellow in July 2012. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Northwestern University with a degree in Linguistics and Political Science.

During his time at Northwestern, Isaac worked as a research assistant for Dr. Masaya Yoshida, with whom he authored a paper on sentence structure that has been accepted for publication. For this work he was awarded a prize for best undergraduate work in linguistics. Isaac also worked as a research assistant in a reading comprehension lab after receiving an undergraduate grant of $2,000.

Isaac has held several other positions. He was an extern for a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, a content development intern at software firm Alelo, and a research assistant for Dr. Shrikanth Narayanan at the Signal Analysis and Interpretation Laboratory at USC.

Isaac joined CCLP after working for a year as an English teaching assistant at a French high school in Paris. He plans to pursue a Master of Public Policy after completing his term at CCLP.
