Erin Kamler

Research Associate

new_kamler.jpgErin Kamler is a Research Associate at the Center on Communication Leadership & Policy. She is an award-winning playwright and composer whose interest in public diplomacy began when she studied in Thailand as an AFS exchange student. Erin has conducted research at the Development Education Programme for Daughters and Communities, an NGO in Northern Thailand dedicated to preventing child trafficking, and two of her papers on trafficking and Thai national identity have been published in academic journals in Thailand and India.

A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, Erin recently earned a master's degree in Public Diplomacy at USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism / School of International Relations, and she will be starting her doctoral work at Annenberg in the fall with a focus on cultural diplomacy and political communication.
