Web Content Coordiantor
Sarah Ledesma is the Web & IT coordinator at the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy (CCLP). Her primary role at the center is to effectively curate and coordinate content related to CCLP’s research initiatives and effectively disperse said information across all online platforms.
Ledesma holds an MCM in Communication Management from The Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at USC, and completed her undergraduate work at the University of San Francisco earning a BA in Media Studies with a minor in Ethnic Studies.
Previously, Ledesma assisted as a social media adviser an project assistant at The Norman Lear Center. She worked directly with the Lear Center research director, Johanna Blakley. Alongside Blakley she helped conceptualize the transmedia project, “Media In Our Image” published in the Spring/Summer 2012 “Viral” edition of Women’s Studies Quarterly (WSQ). The social media campaign, Media in Our Image, explores how we portray ourselves in social networks, which women dominate all around the world.
Currently, Sarah Ledesma continues to develop her social media management skills working as a web/social media assistant for The Annenberg Retreat at Sunnylands. Her graduate thesis focused on identifying key variables present in successful Kickstarter projects.
In July of 2013 Ledesma will attend San Diego Comic-Con International to launch a component of her thesis work on Kickstarter titled, “Project Vincible“
