Lauren Schultz graduated from the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, earning her Masters in Communication Management in May 2011. She is a cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in musical theory and performance. Lauren moved out to Los Angeles from her home state of Rhode Island. She served as the inaugural IT & Student Manager at CCLP from 2010-2011.
Over the past few years, Lauren’s focus had been primarily in the entertainment field, working for several radio stations in the NY-Metro area, and serving as News Director at her college radio station, 89.5 FM WSOU. She has also worked for other entertainment outlets around New York, including Scout Productions, LLC on the third season of Emmy Award winning series “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”, Rhode Island PBS, and Sirius Satellite Radio. Previous to coming to the CCLP, Lauren was working as a producer and content developer for an online entertainment news firm. In 2007, Lauren was a finalist for mtvU-Fulbright scholarship. Her project focus was to study the mainstream marketing of music in the UK, and how their practices translate in the US marketplace.
Lauren is currently working for DigiSynd, a partner of Disney, as an executive assistant to DigiSynd’s two Vice Presidents.
