The USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy (CCLP) is pleased to welcome Brian Sandoval as the Center’s newest Senior Fellow. After serving as a Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, appointed by President George W. Bush, he served as Nevada’s Governor from 2011-2019.  During his tenure, he was deeply involved in issues of economic development, water policy, state parks and recreation, public lands, veterans’ issues, health care and in modernizing Nevada’s public education system. Sandoval currently serves as a Distinguished Fellow of Law and Leadership at the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law, a board member for the Western Governors Foundation and a member of the Board of Directors of Coeur Mining.

As a Senior Fellow, Governor Sandoval will play a key role in CCLP’s election security program.
