The USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy (CCLP) is delighted to welcome lawyer, law professor, legal commentator, and podcast host Harry Litman as its newest Senior Fellow.
Harry Litman holds a law degree from the University of California Berkeley and an undergrad degree from Harvard University.
As the current legal affairs columnist for the Los Angeles Times opinion page, Harry Litman has been an invaluable source of legal and political knowledge for the general public. In addition to the Los Angeles Times, Litman has contributed to several other prominent papers, such as the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal. He is also a frequent legal issues commentator for MSNBC, CNN, CBS News, BBC News, and France 24.
He has published a number of articles on constitutional law, criminal law, and federalism. Litman has taught at Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School and the law schools of Georgetown, Rutgers, University of Pittsburgh, and UC Berkeley. He currently teaches constitutional law at UCLA and UCSD.
Litman is the creator, host, and executive producer of the Talking Feds podcast, a roundtable with prominent political and legal figures discussing issues of the day as well as foundational issues in law.
