CCLP is pleased to announce the addition of Nicholas Goldberg to our extensive roster of Senior Fellows. Goldberg joins CCLP after having spent 20 years as an editor and writer at the Los Angeles Times. He was the editor of the op-ed page and the Sunday Opinion section from 2003 until 2009. He served 11 years as editor of the editorial pages. For three years, until 2023, he wrote a column that appeared twice a week for the opinion pages.
Goldberg’s detailed knowledge of the modern journalism industry and understanding of a broad range of topics from electoral politics to education will help CCLP continue to carry out its mission to shape the future of news, information and civic discourse.
Goldberg joins a host of LA Times alumni at CCLP including former top editor Narda Zacchino and former Senior Vice President and Deputy Publisher Nicco Mele.
