CCLP Senior Fellow Adam Clayton Powell III and Project Manager Judy Kang, who run the USC Election Cybersecurity Initiative, presented their findings on election cybersecurity in the age of AI on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the U.S. Department of State’s Washington Foreign Press Center. Powell and Kang lead CCLP’s Washington, D.C. programs.

They briefed reporters on their efforts training secretaries of state, county clerks, campaign officials and election experts on how to detect and prevent election cyber interference, in all 50 states and worldwide. Earlier this year, Powell and Kang held election cybersecurity events in Singapore, Taiwan, and South Africa. They will be hosting trainings in Cyprus later this month and in Australia in early December.
