Senior Fellow Richard Reeves' book Daring Young Men: The Heroism and Triumph of The Berlin Airlift-June 1948 – May 1949 has been named the "Best History Book" of the past year by the Book of the Month Club. The book is also on the required reading list issued annually by the Air Force Chief of Staff. RESEDA, Calif. — Rep. Brad Sherman, a Democrat from the 27th District of California in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, is a congressman who is obviously not afraid of his constituents. Many are these days, but Sherman takes out advertisements in local newspapers urging people to come and reason with (or yell at) him at "Town Hall" meetings.
